Minimally invasive procedures
Minimally invasive procedures, including total knee replacement, have several benefits over traditional surgery. According to studies cited by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, minimally invasive orthopedic procedures can result in less blood loss, shorter hospital stays and better range of motion.

Patient education
Every Monday from noon to 1 p.m., our orthopedic coordinator and a physical therapist hold a Total Joint Replacement Class on our Benedictine Hospital Campus. The session covers what to expect before, during, and after a total joint replacement. With a full understanding of their procedure, our patients can be confident about every step.
